Greetings!
Tuesday here. I've spent a significant portion of my life dabbling in arts and entertainment.
Things that inform, evoke emotion, influence, brainwashes, subliminally seduces, makes us laugh, makes us cry, I absolutely love!
The other thing I've come to realize is that my life has been one on-going BLOG and Social Site!
- I enjoy networking with people.
- I'm the queen of staying connected to folk.
- I've certainly expressed my opinion (oftentimes unsolicited).
- Friends have been added (as well as "unsubscribed" at times).
- And I can't tell you how many times me and a friend have asked one another "whatchu doing?' like real twits.
So, here we are. At this site I will mostly discuss human behavior and how it translates through media. It is quite evident that artists, performers, business, social and political figures who are in the media, oftentimes are perceived differently than they intend... all shaped by media.
I know for a fact, people perceive me differently than my self-perception... which brings me to another point (this is the "unstable" part). I really need folks to chime in when I ask questions. Hopefully, I am not the only person walking around with unanswered questions about why people do what they do. Sometimes people do or say things that I really JUST DON"T GET! Maybe you will understand and help shed some light... put it in context for me. It will, sort of be... like free therapy-- for me :).
I will also discuss elements of image building and tools for making an impression since there are so many media professionals and performers in my network.
Perception, Perception, Perception!
The Backstory is for fun. It includes photos I've taken over the years during events and media projects I've worked on. I am an admitted "photo op" opportunist so many of them are with the once popular, psuedo popular, very popular, superstar popular and... only popular in my head.
The Services page highlights the services that I offer. I work as an independent contractor and therefore always in the market for work! I have plenty of references and you can see some of my most recent projects here.
Thanks for visiting!
